“Alas, I was the impatient one and cast out my virginity like a pair of rundown shoes the day before homecoming my sophomore year. if you made an elaborate meal for your family or your partner, only to have them glance at it and say “that smells good” without tasting and then, perhaps, go so far as to tell you what they think it may tastes like and how you could have made it better or what sort of food they had earlier or how they like to cook, then perhaps you may know how writers feel when they spend hours agonizing over their work, only to have someone read only the title or summary and then attempt to engage, debate or discuss it in anyway.
